DOMINIQUE ANDRE

EVASION

Released 1976 on MUSICAL TOUCH SOUND
Reviewed by ROCKPROF, Sep 2007ce

Odd library lp released on a French library label with the cover looking like some abstract detail painting from the 1930s of a palm tree and the setting sun.Googling this after finding it cheap, gave me no information on this LP.
As with some of more exotic library lps, you cant imagine some of the tracks being used for an ordinary documentary requiring background music,as its very quirky with some mid 70s Cluster/Neu touches. Toy keyboards and pianos get fumbled about, with elements of avant garde, acoustic guitar, strange vocal, voodoo rhythmns and strangled voices. It shows its age at points but this is a really interesting and varied lp in the vein of ‘Sowieoso’ and more so.
