Late to the party as ever.

Heavy Rain - Heavy Rain
some great Stoogian/Hawkwindy/Floydy guitars on this release. One of those 'lost' 73'/74' heavy rock acts that got a re-issue in 2023. Back in the day shared the stage with Hawkwind/Caravan/Pink Fairies et al. Rooock Onnn!

Throbbing Gristle - The Third Movement

TV Ghost - Mass Dream

Clock DVA - Horology 1 Discs 4-5

Beck - Odelay/Guero

Shellac - Live In New Parish Oakland 2011
Superb gig.

Pig - The Swining/Red,Raw and Sore
Missed these back in the day, looks like Karl Hyde (Underworld) had something to do with them alongside other industrial rock luminaries. Loving it, decent noises to my ears. https://cleopatrarecords.bandcamp.com/album/the-swining-red-raw-sore-re-mastered

The Soundcarriers - Through Other Reflections

Moon Duo - Shadow of the Sun/Circles/Live Netherlands 2019
The Live gig up on youtube is the same tour I saw them on last, Great flow to the set I keep returning to. Live https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=goPcSExzTbI

Bowie - Rock and Roll Star box set
Still sounds great. Dare I say, I always loved Bowies version of Waiting For The Man/ White Light, White Heat more than the Velvets.

Echo And The Bunnymen - John Peel Sessions

Marty Rev - Marty Rev

Dead Moon - Unkown Passage
I'm not the biggest Dead Moon fanboy, but surprised this week to find out how long they'd been a thing.

Depeche Mode - Classics, Rarities, Revalations cover mount CD 2023
Surprisingly good comp of DM moments.

The Cult - Under The Midnight Sun
Not a terrible effort.

Oneida - Expensive Air
Was a massive Oneida fan some years ago, but not tuned in to recent Oneida efforts as they veered nto realms that didn't really interest me. This is (almost) a return to form, being more of what we'd expect from them, noisey psych rock. good stuff! https://oneida.bandcamp.com/album/expensive-air

Various

Punk 45 - No Such Thing As Society

Jon Savage's 1983-85

Punk Me Up, Rolling Stones tribute (Cleopatra)
This is fun in the same way Ministry - Cover Me is fun. Fear version of Honky Tonk Women puts a smile on me mush. FEAR https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=982CXDuFTCU https://open.spotify.com/album/0SxBLOBhfJvtxkyhWdjOAa

Keep Well (Fookin wet around here this weekend). x
