Now having read the notes (an excellent read!), it sounds like all the songs on the CD are recordings from the period. Which begs the question, why weren't any of these included in the deluxe edition... not that it matters, we have this now. The sound quality on the CD is very good too - and it's so good to hear Rooster's drums (or any JC with real drums).
