Brilliant, thanks for the report! I recently found a Brain LP of Cyborg on a second-hand stall, which I've been playing a lot. They've still got a few 80s KS LPs, wondering whether to go back for them.

in a download frenzy i collected the Ultimate KS a 50 cd set, which annoyingly fitted 1-49 onto 5 discs in mp3 form but left no room for 50.
If i ever finish listening to it, i'll let you know.
So far it is some diamonds, some dreck, full report about August 2024 i reckon.

Have you finished it yet?

yes, went the whole hog and invested in hard copies of La Vie Elentronique Vols 1-17 which is the ultimate slightly rejigged, and the Dark Side Of The Moog with Namlook boxsets. Nothing on there to beat Moondawn or Timewind but some of it certainly comes close. He never managed to go full new age like TD so there's nothing unlistenable though some of it would benefit from some studious editing to make it a bit punchier, there's an awful lot of hour plus listening involved. The only problem is between this and a myriad of official TD bootleg releases very little other electronic music gets listened to
