Kammer RIP
Jun 27, 2024, 18:13
I was very sorry to learn that Kammer passed away this week, at the terribly young age of 53.

He was a big part of the TMA community during those early/mid 00s pre-social network years, bringing a mixture of fastidiousness, warmth, shockingly dry humour and fastidiousness*.

Rest in peace, with love to his family and loved ones.

*He hated people posting duplicate photos, and lobbied the TMA Eds of the time for what would become known as "Kammer's law".

Postie was right in describing him as the pioneer of Welsh sites on TMA. Like Stubob in the Peak District, if you visit a prehistoric site (especially standing stones) in mid-Wales, chances are Kammer will have added the site and first posts for it. Although he hadn't posted on here for a long time, his loss is a big one for TMA. Really sorry to hear about it.
