Q Magazine Cash For Questions etc.

Back to school already…hope you all had a wonderful summer. 

It was thanks to your brilliant questions that the Drudical Q&A on this site turned out to be so great – so here is another opportunity for you to ask some more questions. Next month, Julian will be doing Q magazine’s “Cash for Questions”. For those of you who might not be aware of this feature, if Q prints your question you get £25. In their words, “only the sharpest, funniest questions will be put to the Drood (sic) of Avalon”. Well, I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again – the questions we received for the Q&A were so much better than most journalists have managed to come up, so show them how it’s done!
Label all correspondence “Cash For Questions: Julian Cope”, and make sure you include your name and address if you want the £25!

Julian is busy preparing for next month’s tour and I don’t want to be the one to spill the beans about what you can expect, so you’ll have to wait for Julian’s Address Drudion which is on the way (I promise). We’ve had a lot of questions about the forthcoming CD so here is what I know. It will be all new music (50+ minutes) from Julian and, although it is being done as a CD programme to accompany the tour, it will be available through the Merchandiser for all those who can’t make any of the gigs (as will the tour poster and t‑shirt).
If you haven’t listened to the Album of the Month yet, make sure you do. For those of you that love All Things Detroit, this may come as something as a revelation.
Lots of exciting things have occurred in the aftermath of the Modern Antiquarian BBC2 programme, which we will tell you about soon.
Brain Donor competition entries have been great. The winner will be announced on September 15th. We’ve had a lot of emails about this CD, and if it will be available to purchase. I’ll ask Julian to tell you more about what is going on with all things Donor in his Address Drudion.
