Summer Salutations

Aug 16, 2000ce

Greetings to you all, and hope you are all having a lovely summer. A couple of extra tour dates to let you know about: -

5 October Glasgow, King Tuts (second show added)
5 November Gloucester, Guildhall

Julian has been very busy planning for this tour, and I should think he will have more to say about it in his next Address Drudion.
We recently had a great meeting with our Supreme Webmaster, and major plans are in store for U‑Know!, as well as the on-going development for the Practical Antiquarian. The record reviews section in Unsung just gets better and better all the time, thanks to all of you. I keep thinking about what it will be like in a few years from now – surely it will become the greatest resource centre for that which is Unsung (if it isn’t already). Whenever I check it out, I’m either reminded of a forgotten classic or intrigued to check out something new. Again, thank you to everyone for making this so special.
The lovely Tim Drummond, who used to run KAK/Head Heritage back in the days when we were based in London, will be doing the merchandise on the autumn tour. In addition to the two new t‑shirt designs and new Julian CD that we’ve already mentioned, there will be a tour poster, the Cornucopea poster and, hopefully, a couple of other surprises available.
Finally, just to let you know that we are still trying to sort out videos (both PAL and NTSC versions) of the BBC2 Modern Antiquarian programme. We hope to have some more information in a couple of weeks.

Hoping that the sun is shining wherever you are and Blessed Be to you and yours,

JoAnne

(And check out this month’s competition – I think it’s the best prize yet!)
