July 1st News

It’s been a busy week here at Head Heritage. There has been an overwhelming response to the BBC2 Modern Antiquarian programme – the only complaints being that it was too short and it should have been a series. Thank you to everyone who has taken the time to pass on their kind words, which have been a pleasure to read and are greatly appreciated by Julian. Many of you said that this is what television should be like, and I agree – it really was a special film and certainly achieved everything Julian hoped it would. Lots of questions about Julian’s bag — it was specially made for Julian a few months ago, and not available to buy. For those of you whose VCRs let you down, we are making enquiries to see what we can do about obtaining extra copies and will keep you posted. Regarding the possibility of a series, this has been suggested to Julian in light of the success of the programme. However, Julian is more interested in the idea of another one-off programme.
Julian’s Q&A is taking a little longer to complete than had been anticipated, but we are hoping to have it on the site within the next couple of weeks. You’re in for some interesting reading!
